It’s easy to burn out in an insurance-based physical therapy model. I think one of the keys to avoiding this is to assure you are always building a center of clinical excellence. In fact, that’s one of our core principles at Champion.
Zach Baker and Rehab 2 Perform in Maryland are doing a great job with this, so I wanted to get him on the podcast to share some of their model.
Zach Baker is a Physical Therapist in Maryland with Rehab 2 Perform. He is one of the original PT’s from when the company opened in 2014 and has seen his roles within the organization evolve as the company has matured. Currently, he serves as the Chief Clinical Officer for the company, overseeing the clinical operations with regards to patient care across all locations. In addition, he serves as Program Director for the R2P Sports Residency. Outside of his hours at R2P, he is a course instructor with R2P Academy which provides accredited continuing education courses for PT’s and Strength coaches in the rehab and reconditioning fields.
