Muscle Imbalances Revealed 2.0


imageIt’s hard to believe but the really impressive Muscle Imbalances Revealed product that I reviewed here just a few months ago has already been re-released by Rick Kaselj as version 2.0, and the improvements are great!  For those that bought the original Muscle Imbalances Revealed, you get a free upgrade (and will continue to do so for the life of the product), which is a really neat perk that they didn’t have to do.

    The what "actually happens video", while sounding good continues to support the largely unsubstantiated belief that bad posture leads to dysfunction. While there seems to be an intuitive link between the two most studies that look for the link have not found one.

    I agree with the "What Actually Happens Video" as well and we try and teach wellness living to all of our patients to encourage just this sort of understanding. People need to understand that lasting relief is only achieved once the root of the problem is addressed even if it is not the obvious cause for tha pain or discomfort.

    To me the anterior pelvic tilt is created by a movement impairment issue. She extends the right leg/hip very forcefully in the erect position – a combination of hip extension knee extension and lumbar spine extension. If she kept the right femur in a neutral position (vertical) with the knee flexed, combined with an ab brace the lumbar extension/anterior tilt wouldn’t be an issue.
