This week’s Stuff You Should Read comes from Mike Robertson, Dean Somerset, and Erson Religioso.
Inner Circle and RehabWebinars.com Update
I just announced that my next live Inner Circle webinar will be Tuesday March 26th at 11:00 AM EST. I will be discussing “Enhancing the Balance Between Upper and Lower Trapezius.” This should be a fun one, as I have seen a bunch of patients lately where this was my primary objective.
Inner Circle members can log into their account and register for the webinar in the Inner Circle Dashboard. If you are not a member of my Inner Circle, click here to get access to this and all my past Inner Circle webinars for only $5.
RehabWebinars.com has a new webinar up this week on The Female Athlete. This is a comprehensive webinar by Dr. Joe Powers, of ASMI, that discusses topics such as the female athlete triad, bone mineral density issues, amenorrhea, and exercise during pregnancy.
Mike Robertson had a great article a little while back on how and why you should be performing a warm up. This is nice detailed articles that you will get a lot of info out of after reading.
Dean Somerset discusses a bunch of great info regarding Vitamin D, a pretty hot topic now. He offers some nice perspective on the topic. For what it is worth, adding vitamin D to my own personal supplementation regime is something that I think has really helped me.
I recently dropped in on my pal Erson Religioso’s seminar on his treatment approach for the upper quarter. I was lucky enough that he cam to teach in Boston about 15 minutes from my house! Erson provides a refreshing approach by combining several aspects of movement based assessments with the SFMA and MDT approach. He then integrates several forms of manual therapy techniques, including IASTM and neurodynamics to treat various injuries with great success. Erson does a great job sharing his knowledge and experience.
He is teaching for Medical Minds in Motion now, so head on over to their website and see if he is coming to your area anytime soon.
