As the game of baseball continues to evolve, so do the injury patterns we see. To stay ahead of the trends, it’s important to build a high performance team in professional sports.
In today’s podcast, I talk to Dr. Chris Camp about the high performance team of the Minnesota Twins, mitigating injury risk, and future trends in baseball injuries.
Christopher Camp is an Orthopedic Surgeon from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. His clinic practice focuses on treating shoulder, elbow, and knee injuries in athletes. His research efforts are targeted towards injuries that impact overhead athletes and baseball players with an emphasis on shoulder/elbow injuries, motion analysis, epidemiology, and injury prevention. He also works with the MN Twins Baseball Club as their Director of High Performance, Medical Director, and Team Orthopedic Surgeon.
