    As far as back pain in the morning goes, the quality of the mattress should be examined as well. How old is it? Is it too soft/firm? Is it supportive? And because the disc is the largest in the morning, as mentioned, that can play a role. Some movements to “pump out” excess fluid will help. Classically Cat/Camels are great for this.
